My mother, Sema Çalgav, studied at Feyzullah Primary School, and all of my aunts studied at Feyzullah Primary School as well. Şermin Alppay also has a sister named Nermin Alppay and a brother named Taner Alppay. Nermin Alppay married a man from Manisa and passed away; she had children named Cumhur and Ali and, I think, one daughter with the surname Güven, so in total two sons and one daughter. They are around 70 years old now.Taner Alpay/Alppay is an architect, a senior architect; he has two children named Cem and Güneri, who are studying in the United States. The uncle of my aunt Şermin, Şaban Alppay, was a manager at the Ottoman Bank; he passed away.My father, Yaşar Çalgav, has a sister named Hayriye Çalgav. She married Rıza Aydın Arıç, who was a Bosniak and a petty officer in the Navy; he passed away. They had two daughters, Tülin Sipahiler and Tülay Buğdaycılar, both daughters. Tülay’s children work at Sönmez Filament, and her sister Tülin Sipahiler has one son and one daughter. There is also Sipahiler Events and Sipahiler Holding.I have two sisters: Özlem Çalgav Güngör and Özden Çalgav Uçar. Both are married to navy colonels, and both husbands are retired navy colonels. There are absolutely no Georgians or Kurds in my ancestry on the upper generations of my family.One of my sisters has grandchildren, and the other one’s children are studying in Canada and abroad. My aunts are Meryem (Meryem Akdeniz), Mine, whose husband is Osman Oğuz and they have three children, and İnci Büyükoğlu, who has two children named Mustafa and Meltem. My aunt Oya Yamak has never married; she lives in Maltepe. She lives in our two‑storey house with a garden, which was split into two; she lives on the side on the right as you go down towards the seaside. It was divided into numbers 11A and 11.In addition, the wives of the founders of Sütaş are distant relatives of my mother. Şevket Kazan, who was a close friend of Erbakan, the leader of the National Salvation Party, is also a distant relative of my mother and is from Yuvacık.��
