Headline: Our Struggle for Justice and Human Dignity 🕊️⚖️This is not just a political statement. This is the story of a mother and a child who paid a heavy price for demanding justice, law, and dignity in their own country. My name is Sema Calgav, and together with my mother, we have experienced what no citizen should ever face within hospital walls: pressure, humiliation, and treatment that we believe violated our most basic human rights. We did not remain silent. In line with the law, we submitted formal petitions to challenge violations of our right to vote and to be elected, and we filed lawsuits to defend our constitutional and human rights. Step by step, we documented every incident, every injustice, and every attempt to silence us.At the same time, I founded and registered human-rights–focused initiatives such as World Universal Law Platform and World Universal Human Rights Platform, to turn our personal pain into a wider struggle for rights, accountability, and the rule of law. These platforms are designed to work with professional bodies, legal experts, and international standards to build a culture where no one is above the law.In this process, we also witnessed how certain political structures, including parties that operate as “front” or “proxy” organizations, were used to divide, intimidate, or neutralize genuine democratic opposition. We reject all forms of manipulation that exploit the language of revolution or democracy while undermining real justice and transparency. Our path is clear:We stand for objective law, not personal power. We stand for transparent politics, not hidden networks. We stand for human dignity, against any form of torture, ill-treatment, or abuse — whether in hospitals, police stations, courts, or any public institution. We stand for international human rights standards, and we are building the legal and institutional tools to hold every actor accountable, no matter how powerful. This is not a cry for pity. This is a call for conscience. If a mother and her child can be mistreated for seeking justice, then no one is truly safe. Our struggle is not only for ourselves, but for every citizen who wants to live in a country where:laws protect people, institutions serve the public, and politics is no longer a shelter for impunity. We invite everyone who believes in law, rights, and human dignity to stand with us, to ask questions, to demand accountability, and to support the creation of a healthier, fairer, and more transparent system. Our pain is real. Our path is lawful. Our goal is a country where no one has to suffer what we went through.
