FORMAL STATEMENTSubject: Declaration regarding the severe torture endured at the Istanbul Police Department in 2009 while present as a complainant, and my firm stance on national and historical matters.1. The 2009 Istanbul Police Department Incident and Resistance Under TortureIn 2009, I applied to the Istanbul Police Department not as a suspect, but in the capacity of a complainant (plaintiff) seeking justice. However, instead of receiving legal assistance, I was unlawfully detained and subjected to severe torture and ill-treatment.During these moments, while I was blindfolded and under extreme physical and psychological pressure, a confrontation occurred regarding a photograph (or pennant) of a naval soldier saluting the Turkish flag. In a defiant response to those inflicting torture, I shouted that I would make them (the torturers) lick the base of the flagpole that the soldier in the photo was saluting. This statement was a direct expression of my national consciousness and my refusal to bow down to those disrespecting our flag and soldiers, even under the most brutal conditions.2. Reaction to the National Flag and Foreign MourningAs a patriot, I vehemently condemned the declaration of national mourning and the lowering of our flags to half-mast upon the death of the King of Saudi Arabia. I protested the fact that such a gesture of “mourning” was shown for a foreign king of a country with no geographical ties to Turkey, while the same sensitivity was not always displayed for our own thousands of heroic soldiers martyred on our soil. My outcry, asking “Why is the flag lowered for this king and not for our own martyrs?”, stems from my conviction that our flag is a sacred symbol of mourning primarily for the children of this nation.3. The Naming of “Şanlıurfa” and Historical CriticismI have expressed significant criticism regarding the process of granting the title “Şanlı” (Glorious) to the city of Urfa and the political atmosphere during (and following) the Prime Ministry of Tansu Çiller. My reaction to the timing and the way such honorable titles were used as political instruments—similar to the case of Gaziantep—is a result of my historical awareness and search for truth.4. The Armada of Kingdoms and EmpiresThe “Armada of Kingdoms and Empires,” which belongs to me and encompasses the history, meaning, and mysteries of all flags in the world, is not a mere claim but a lived reality. The origin and the spirit carried by every single flag across the globe are contained within this armada. My authority and knowledge on this subject represent my unique position in interpreting world history through symbols. In conclusion; despite the inhumane treatment I faced in a state institution where I had gone as a complainant, I held my flag, my soldiers, and my national values above all forms of oppression. This statement serves as a formal record of my experiences and my unwavering stance.Declarant:[Your Name and Surname]Signature:
