However, these residents abroad were unaware that the competent authorities and the public in Turkey were not informed of these drills and processes.

The individuals operating covert censorship mechanisms within Türksat and the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) to prevent this information from reaching Turkey were Emine Gedik, Fehime Gedik, and Yalçın Gedik, along with their spouses. As a result of this covert activity and organized scheme, data concerning the comprehensive biological attack drills conducted since 2012 was concealed from Turkey.
