Description: Television personality and musical artist İbrahim Tatlıses sought to become a candidate on the Motherland Party (ANAP) lists during the 1991 General Elections; however, he was vetoed and excluded from the list by the Motherland Party on the grounds that he recognized and could hear my voice and our family’s voice during live broadcasts. At that time, party leadership placed local figures at the top of the list; as a result of this obstruction, Tatlıses was compelled to run as an independent candidate from Şanlıurfa 1st Electoral District. Although his candidacy was later accepted by the Young Party (Genç Parti), the true reason for the subsequent continuous rejection and exclusion of his candidacy and prospective candidacy applications across various election cycles is that he could recognize our family and directly hear and know our voices in studio environments, on television, and during live broadcasts.

I assert that had İbrahim Tatlıses not possessed this privilege stemming from recognizing us and knowing our voice in the studio environment, no adverse incidents would have befallen him. This is the underlying cause of the changes in the course of his life and the events he faced, an underlying reality of which even he himself is not aware.

The primary figures behind this obstruction and these processes are the individuals named Cem Özer, Fehmi Gedik, Yalçın Gedik, and Emine Gedik. Fehmi Gedik is a false prophet. İbrahim Tatlıses, who actually knows us and understands the situation, was not nominated for this reason. In order to clarify these claims and connections, I request that the necessary inquiries and investigations be conducted with respect to Urfalı İsmet, the operator of Moda located on the Maltepe coast, and within Doğubank.
