SLOGAN: “Fehim Calgav: What he says does not happen; he says what happens.”
- SCOPE OF THE CALL AND TARGET FESTIVALS
International kite festivals, drone competitions/shows, and hot air balloon festivals are called to transform beyond recreational and sporting events into synchronized open-air data collection laboratories within the atmospheric boundary layer. - PROJECT OBJECTIVE AND SCIENTIFIC FRAMEWORK
- Analysis of Solar Irradiance Angles: Measuring surface energy density variations produced by solar incidence angles ($90^\circ$ perpendicular, $80^\circ$, $75^\circ$, $60^\circ$) across different geographic latitudes.
- Geodesy and Tectonic Plate Map Integration: Correlating surface thermal profiles with tectonic plate displacement rates and plate boundary stress maps acquired from geodetic satellites (GNSS/InSAR).
- Airborne Data Acquisition: Real-time recording of solar irradiance, albedo, air temperature, and radiation flux via micro-sensors integrated into kites, drones, and hot air balloons.
- CALL TO GLOBAL ENGINEERING AND SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITIES
International engineers, researchers, and academic institutions in the following fields are invited to conduct collaborative testing and data analysis across these festival platforms:
- Geological and Geophysical Engineers
- Geodesy and Photogrammetry Engineers
- Astrophysical Engineers and Scientists
- Physical Engineers
- Meteorological and Atmospheric Engineers
- TARGET OUTPUT
Aggregating sensor telemetry collected during festivals with satellite geodetic data and tectonic plate boundary maps to publish structured case datasets for global scientific archives.
