Statement Text:
Although dozens or hundreds of chat sites such as mynet.com were actively operating on the internet during that period, an official announcement was displayed on the main page of the 3D chat platform “www.chatcity.cc“, which operated under the infrastructure of superonline.com, stating that television host Beyazıt Öztürk and broadcaster Savaş Ay met on their platform.
Based on the public disclosures made during the television broadcast and the nature of the incidents, I filed a formal criminal complaint with the competent judicial authorities in 2009 on the grounds that user screen visuals, location records (including Istanbul location data), and digital interactions were being intercepted and monitored through the system without authorization.
The aforementioned investigation process was conducted before Public Prosecutor Hacı Mehmet Tuluğ, and my official testimony was recorded into formal judicial proceedings by police officers Süleyman Tat and Serkan Komi.
